Kari's Story

Life It's been a wonderful trip! After high school I spent some time traveling through Europe, returning to work several not-so-exciting jobs. A couple years later I married and was fortunate enough to again travel through Europe and completely around the world. That was the good part; bad part, marriage didn't last. I decided to return to school and spent four years in downtown Los Angeles in court reporting school. It was a wonderful career choice for me, and allowed even more time for traveling. for several years and had a great time. In 1988 I was lucky enough to meet a fabulous man and we were married shortly thereafter. We had a son in 1991 (yes, at 40!) We lived in Manhattan Beach until 1997 when we moved to the Central Coast. I retired from court reporting but am now back at it part time working in court. Also periodically sell a little real estate, enjoy hiking and going to the gym, and just generally thankful for a nice life. Would love to hear from old classmates, too. Wishing you all well.
