Kari's Story
I am facing one of the most difficult and heart wrenching videos I have been asked to do. My friend is dying from brain cancer and she has had me film her through this. On Thursday, I am going to film her final words to the world, her family and her life. As much as everyone thinks my life is so awesome, as a director of documentaries, my life can be hell~

Kari is the President of Gypsy Raven Productions, a full service video production facility in the Pacific Northwest, serving Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon that specializes in event planning and music videos.
Kari just finished directing and editing a music video for the band Free From Gravity out of the UK called The Long Road. The video, about recovery from Cancer has earned her great respect amongst filmmakers and cancer survivors alike. You can find Free From Gravity on Facebook. In an exciting turn of events, Kari has been asked to author a book about the video, and the lives it changed. She has been picked up by Mama Said Publishing out of Los Angeles. The book is due to be released in the Spring of 2014 and will be available through Amazon.

She is currently shooting documentary footage to spotlight the group and will be coordinating a concert/fundraiser for Spring of 2014.
Kari enjoys her off time on her 5 acre ranch, watching deer, bear, moose and other critters enjoy the safety that has been granted via numerous animal rights organizations including the International Wildlife Protection Agency.
