Kari's Story
Life
I am happily married to a KCMO Police Officer.
I work as an X-ray Tech at Children's Mercy Hospital in KC.
We have 3 children, 1 girl and 2 boys.
I am currently the President of our KCPD Friends and Family Group made up of spouses, mothers, fathers, loved ones of our local PD. Our group is very actively involved in community service projects and providing support for other police families.

Ethan, was born with a CHD, and has undergone open heart surgery to repair his defect.
Ethan has been chosen as the American Heart Association's Heart Child for 2006, and I will be speaking at the 'Heart and Soul' Ball on Feb 25th benefitting the AHA.
I love to spend time with my family, we have a 5th wheel travel trailer which we take to the lake and spend as much time as possible on the jet skis, in the boat and having fun with family and friends.
We are getting started on building a new(bigger!) home to be completed sometime in October of 2006.
