Karin's Story
Hi Everyone:
I just moved back to San Diego in April 2008, previously I lived in Washington State for almost 4 years and before that Boulder, Colorado for 10 years. I'm really happy to be back to warmer weather.
My 29 year old son Justin lives in Las Vegas and is the Emergency Room Admitting Supervisor at North Vista Hospital, he has 3 kids (Isabelle 5, Sean 2 and Joshua 3mos.), Ryan my youngest son is 23 and lives in Boulder, CO (he rents out my Condo so I have a great place to stay) with his girlfriend Kyla.
My sister Lynn (graduated in 1970) still lives in Las Vegas (Boulder City, by Hoover Dam) is still married to Mark Fradella (36 years).
My mom lives in the rural outskirts of Hemet in a beautiful home she designed and ...Expand for more
built with her husband Rod (they've been married for 22 years). Since I've moved back to CA I try to visit on a regular basis (don't want to get left out of the will).
About me, well I still run alot, several marathons and lots of half marathons, although since about mid-November I stopped to take a little break, my poor body was taking a beating, and I've gained almost 10lbs!!! So I will be one of those people making weight loss a New Years resolution, bummer!
I live near Moonlight Beach in Encinitas and everyday my little dog Lola (she's a Pug) and I go for walks/runs, it so beautiful here and I'm so happy to be back in the same area of San Diego and have the same friends, so it's feels pretty secure being back.
