Karin's Story
I married in 1986 and moved to California. I lived in Santa Barbara, then way up north in the redwoods, and finally settled in the San Francisco Bay Area in '93. I love CA, it's so beautiful, but I do miss my family, thunderstorms (but not the humidity) and Texas food. I have four kids ages 15, 14, 13 and 11 1/2. Kinesiology (athletic training or phys. ed.), but last August I decided to switch gears and go back to my original interest, emergency medicine. I hope to have completed my paramedic training by late spring or early summer of '09. In my free time I love watching sports, weight training, running/racing, and spending a lot of time outdoors walking, hiking, etc.
