Karl's Story
Life
Originally I'm from Brampton Ont. where I went to school and grew up before moving to the Kitchener/Waterloo area. I graduated in 1967, was married in 1974, moved away from the KW area (permanently) in 1975 to Mississauga. After several visits to Idaho we decided to try to get a visa to move to Boise. I left my family & friends behind (in the Toronto area) when in 1978 we moved to Boise Idaho USA, to be close to her parents.
I was married until 1982 when we were divorced. After 16 years of being shied away from marriage, I was re-married in 1998 to Lynda, (Goes to show you, there can be a SILVER lining in that dark cloud) who is the right one. We have a 16+ year old (May 25/92), who's not my daughter, but has added much joy to my life. It's good to have someone special to share your life, fun and bad times with. Lynda received her degree last year, 2005, after years of hard work. I'm proud of her to do that; a full time job, a mother and wife and going to school. her job now allows her to travel some to places like; Prague Czech., Amsterdam, Singapore, Shanghai China, etc.

An update: Aspen passed away Christmas morning (2005) but since then we've gotten a female companion for Kobe, her name is Maui. She's an Egyptian Mau.
My interests include cars and motorcycles, photography; (check out some pictures at: WebShots look for kfengler1)and a variety of other things.

College
I attended Sheridan College when they had the Brampton Campus on the old Brampton High School site.
Workplace
When I first moved to Boise I worked for ADA County from Nov. 1978 to March 2, 1979 when I got a call from Hewlett Packard.
I've been with HP since March 5, 1979.
Boy have things changed, especially in the last few years, since about 1999, but especially since about 2001.
As of September 25, 09 a I won't be an HP employee. Sept. 25, 09 I won't have any ties with HP. Seems my job is needed for someone in India.
Ride my motorcycle.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to people in a bind, then spend the rest on family, travel and retirement.
