Life
After graduation, attended UAF for two years before being invited to join my friends and neighbors in Vietnam. Spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy Seabees, then eight years with the U.S. State Department, posting to Lisbon, Mali and Uganda. hen Chapman University where I finally obtained a BA. Moved back to Alaska in 1998, working first for Alaska Housing Finance Corp as the director of the construction department, then for Arctic Slope Regional Corp as Chief Operating Officer for a subsidiary. Presently married to Elayne. Four children by a former spouse, and five grandchildren.
