Karla's Story
Well, people...40 years is almost too much to believe! We're all on facebook to link to the reunion site, right? My hope come fall is to be able to visit with everyone who shares a love for the memories of our high school years.
Sounds corny, huh?
The truth of it is: I'd planned to pass on even inquiring if there'd be a 40th reunion. Since absolutely NONE OF YOU have been in my life since then (except Helen Hewko, Martin Taller, and Linda Johns) it seemed like a waste of time. Then Dan Thrift called and I realized some people really do care enuf to corral us up one ore time. Emails came in from D.C., Idaho, and elsewhere and the memories of friendships and experiences shared were over...Expand for more

My ideal reunion would be simply to visit with you all. Never one to dance or party, I'll probably leave when the music makes talking impossible. We have all traveled different roads, and left our mark on other lives in varied ways. That's what I'd love to learn about you all: The history you've made since we parted in '69.
I'd love to meet the people who weren't in my social circle (HAH!) then and reconnect with those who were. To see the names of those we've lost is staggering. As a 19 year cancer survivor, myself, it shouldn't be...but somehow we were just all invinceable at that time.
