Karol's Story
Life
I live in Calera Alabama with my husband Ray Layton, who I have been with for 25 yrs now.
I have a son named Matthew who lives in NC with his wife Melissa and my beautiful 14 yr. old Grand Daughter Cali. I have another son, Kollen who is an angel with God. He passed away in Oct. of 1999 in an automobile accident...he was 17 and it was 3 wks before his 18th birthday. That time in my life was the worst I have ever gone thru, including being in an abusive marriage.
In 2005, my Dad passed away......My grandson Ryan Jeffrey, was stillborn on Nov. 6, 2008. My Mom passed away in 2012. Another tragedy to go thru in my life is my older brother Louie passed away on April 15, 2018. They are all angels in heaven watching over my family.

erve disease called RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) in my right hand, wrist, and arm. There is no cure for this disease and at times my hand and arm aren't even functioning.
I wrote a children's book that was published and it is for sale, on Amazon.com, called "The ABC's Of It"....and in 2010 I had another book published, a poetry book called, "Dedication Poetry, Poems from Within"...In 2011 I had my short story book published called "The Door With Two Latches", all of which can be purchased on Amazon.com.
I am living life each day to the fullest.
I thank God each and every day for Ray, without him I don't know if I could've gotten through all of the bad things in my life.
