Karol's Story
I moved to Orange County in 1974. My husband Jon and I live in the hills of North Tustin. I love where I live as it reminds me of Thousand Oaks.
We have 2 wonderful sons! Robert was born on Valentine's Day 1981. Brad was born the end of 1983. The boys moved out together May 2008 and live in Newport Beach, CA. Yes...we are now "empty nesters"!!
My business is running the Professional Services division for Calyx Software. It's a great company, owned by the most wonderful Christian man. I opened up my office just 2 miles from my home. I love what I do!!I stay busy, work with great people, and also get to travel.
My husband Jon has owned a coin & jewelry store in Huntington Beach since 1980. Needless to say....you know what I get for birthdays, anniversary's, etc. :)
Our whole family is totally into the beach! Brad has been an avid surfer since 1994 and has had the opportunity to surf all over the country, so he always lets us know where the best beaches are. Carlsbad...Expand for more
, CA is our most favorite. We go every chance we get, no matter what time of year.
Our favorite vacation is going to Kauai and staying at the Grand Hyatt. We go every summer and never get tired of it.
My twin sister Kathy, or "Katherine" as she now goes by...lives in Woodland Hills. She is married to a great guy, Kelly McBride and has 2 daughters, Marissa and Kelsey. Kathy is a very successful commercial real estate broker for a company in Encino.
My Mom still lives in the same house on La Jolla Dr. that we grew up in. She is in great health and looks fantastic! I try to visit her every month. My Dad lives in Spokane, WA. He turned 80 December 2007! He and his wife come out for a visit once or twice a year and we always stay at the same place in Carlsbad for our "reunion".
Back to the past...I have so many fond memories of T.O.H.S. and the people I went to school with. I would love to hear from any of you who remember me.
