Karolee's Story
Mother of 7 Children...........I'm a "Gramee" of 18 grandchildren(ONE ON THE WAY)Jasee (my baby) and her sweet sweet husband, Jordan are due in June 2011...........I love this season of my life! My children, each one of the 7 of them have brought me much happiness and richness in my life. Remember me kinda quiet........not so much any more (: I love MY WORK! I had the opportunity to go back to school and get my Master's Degree in Social Work and now I'm Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. I work with Alcohol/Drug addiction, Post Traumatic Stress/Trauma Victims, Mental Health disorders, personality disorders, families, courts, Adult Parole and Probation, Child Protective Services, Sex-Offenders, Couple's Counseling, Domestic Violence issues, Prisoners, etc. I am so honored to meet new people, who are struggling or suffering with some of these issues......I want you to know they are the real "heroes" in my life. traveled a little...to England, France and Germany. I plan to go to Scotland and definitely back to France with in two years.....Oh, my God, I have a BUCKET LIST! No matter where I have been and who I have met; no where seems to compare to Toledo, Oregon, my heart, MY HOME.
How I destress:
1. Lavender salts in a hot bath, candle light (at least 6 or 7candles), Lavender spray, music yo yo ma or Sting. 2. LISTENING TO PINK'S Music....." So What, Mean, Funhouse, Sober, I don't believe you, No body Knows, Who Knew, etc. 3. Listen Christine Aguleria's song-FIGHTER! 4. My kids, grandkids, friends 5. My Dreams....plans of what I going to do with my life. 6. Reflecting back on what I have been given and being grateful. 7. Being in the moment and recognizing the now....
And the Now is "All Good"(:
I always wanted to be a Ballerina when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were right.
