Karol's Story
Life
As I get old (er), I reflect on the might-have beens, should-have-beens, and what has been. As anyone, I have some regrets, but the shining part of my life are my 3 WONDERFUL daughters. No mother anywhere could be prouder or happier. Each, in her own way, has been and is such an absolute blessing to me.
As many of you, I have had my share of hard times. But, I also have been very lucky in that I discovered what makes me happiest, and late in my life I get to live that. I get to live part of my life (and someday ALL) by the ocean!! There is no greater joy (to me) than to be able to live by the ocean. eing able to explore. I also get to breathe the clean fresh ocean air and see some of the most glorious views that others can only dream of. I get to witness the fury of a winter storm or the sparkle of a clear crisp sunny day. Can it get any better? Not for me.
School
High school? That was not a happy time for me so the memories are dim.
College
College? My last 2 years were at Chico State, where I grew up and made some life changing decisions. My roommate was a dear friend from the 8th grade. To this day, she is still my very best friend. I remember many nights spent at Denny's, where I could milk my 10 cents with their unlimited coffee refills. Being very poor, this was quite a find!
