After graduation I attended Mt San Antonio Jr College. I started in Pre-vet but quickly learned I didn't like the sciences. I switched to Ranch Management. I graduated from Mt SAC and went on to Fresno State College. There, I majored in Agricultural Business. I met my future husband, Johnny. At the time he was an insurance investigator. We were married in May 1969. He had been in the military and wanted to go back. He did and I quit college and followed him to several duty stations including Ft Ord, CA, Ft Huachuca, AZ, Alexandria, VA (we both worked at the Pentagon), and Germany. We ended up at Ft Huachuca and have been here ever since (2021). Our son was born in 1972. Johnny had a daughter from a previous marriage. They both live within a few miles of me.
