Kathy's Story
Hey everybody, how have you all been? Lets see after MHS I traveled to NY with a friend lived on a house boat on Long Island, and just took in all of the culture. I was there for 3 months befor I got homesick. When I got home I went to work for the state of Oregon as data entry op for the dept of Fish & Wildlife untill Goldschmidt took over and cut the budget. From there I went to work for Erin Calhoun we made shade cloth, then we worked for McCalif Nursery supply untill they went bankrupt. From there I started a in home day care and ran that for 12yrs. When my boys were old enough I stopped doing that and went to work for 5 diff. school dist. as an on call instructional aide. When the state changed the laws for that job. I worked for my second husband driving log skidder, what fun! Then one summer I took a job at Charbonuea Golf course. esk, service and warranty writing, accounting and sales. Thats where im at now. I love my free time, I golf, go to the beach alot, travel to southern Calli every winter thats were I would like to retire someday. I have 5 boys, Destin 27, Ben 22, Kory and Kody they would have been 19 this year and Jayk who is going to be 18 this year. He is the only one still at home and will be a senior next year. I also have 2 step daughters Ericka and Dani. But no one has made me a grandma yet, thats okay though Im in no hurry for that. I married a 4th generation logger who has lived in Molalla all of his life. He's a good man! Spoils me rotten! We still live in Molalla and I will probubly die in Molalla but dont they say home is where the heart is. I guess thats why Im still here.
