Kate's Story
After TJ I went to Mount Union College in Ohio and before they kicked me out after two years mastering the art of chugging beer and playing bridge, I left for the Washington Hospital Center School of Nursing where I actually applied myself and graduated after 3 years as an RN. Seven years later, I wanted more and went to Duke University for 2 years and became a Physician Assistant which became my passion for 34 years. I spent 15 years doing heart surgery and the last 19 years in the Emergency Room. I lived in Lorton, Va.
I married late at age 38, hence ...Expand for more
the career. (I always wanted to marry and have lots of kids) Luck came my way and I had a career, husband and a daughter. Fourteen years later I divorced and remain a very happy camper with lots of friends and family.
I retired in 2015 and am living my dream by living in a coastal area and ride my bike to the beach. I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I'd enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers me. I played field hockey, basketball, joined the Civettes and dated Jim Evans, I went to the sr. prom with Bob Nichols, and my claim to fame was being Miss Jefferson 1967.
