Kate's Story

Life Born and raised in PGH, PA. Lived there 17 years, before moving to LA to establish residency for college. I went to UCLA, where I graduated in 4 yrs. It was there I met my husband to be. I was a Resident Asst in the dorms for two years, and was also den mother to MANY football players (how fun!)After school,I worked in the Graphic Arts industry and in printing. I have (2) children with Corey. After 17 years in LA, it was off to Dallas (Corey was transferred) where I again worked in graphic arts. After 4 years in Dallas (LOVED IT!) we were transferred to Seattle (LIKE IT!). I am now a somtime SAHM. I enjoy...Expand for more
volunteering at my kid's schools. Over the past 4 1/2 years, I have lost 50 pounds, exercise regularly, completed 3 triathlons (yes!). I work part time w/Weight Watchers. I am STILL a Pirate and Steeler fan, but much of my hockey allegiance has moved to the Dallas Stars. We watch junior hockey here in Seattle. Corey and I were married 20 years in Sept. 2005. Kirk has graduated from college in 3 years....looking to law school after a year off (he's only 20 you know...) My daughter is almost 18 now, plays basketball and is typically female...loves to shop! If you visit here, email me. I'd love to hear from you!
