Kate Lapczynski:  

Dave Lapczynski and I married a year after graduation and are still together. It is very smart to marry your best friend. Dave and I both spent a semester at MSU and then he transferred to Uof M and I started making babies. Our first child, Kathy Anne, was born in June of 1970 and died the following August. I miscarried our second baby. In January 1972, I gave birth to our daugther Kelly, who was followed almost 5 years later by our son Jake. Dave graduated, we bought a house, reconnected with old friends, learned to play bridge with a bridge grand master (Monty Cayce's grandmother) and had a small but happy life. In 1980, Dave was offered a job in Tullahoma TN and we moved South. We love it here. It's beautiful and laid back and a great place to raise kids and/or retire.
