Kate's Story
After I got back from Kenya Africa( 1979) AFS I went to Madison and graduated with a BSN(RN).
I was going to be a medical missionary nurse in Zambia but I met my husband in the last semester and never made
it back to Africa as a nurse.
Peter had run at Marquette and moved to Boulder , CO in 1985 to try to qualify for the Olympic trials in the
marathon so I went in 1986. The time there was magical but it ended with a career ending injury for Peter. We

first son was expected. We have three boys who somehow became men(27,25,22). We have a business man,
a preacher, and a doctor in the making.
I have been at lil ol Elmbrook Memorial Hospital for 28 years Obstetrics/Gynecology.
My mom passed in 2011 but my dad is 90 and resides in Waukesha.
We lived in a 1919 money pit in Wauwatosa until last year. We're enjoying Lake Country now by Pewaukee Lake.
