Katharine's Story
I was married in 1970 and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. We live in my husbands parents home that we bought from his sisters. Two of our children live just across the field from us. For about 12 years I ran with a local volunteer ambulance as an I-tech (I started IV's and was able to to give some meds). I retired about 4 years ago but still act as the treasurer.
I live in Vermont and get to see deer/bear/moose in my backyard. We also get turkeys in our frontyard.

a divorce. This was out of the blue so I am not dealing with it very good right now. As my kids keep saying 1 day at a time.
I am also completely retired and on disability as I broke my back 3 years ago and had spinal fusion 1 and 1/2 years ago. Hoping to move to Tennessee in the coming months to live. Since my divorce will become final on 12/12/12 one week before my 42nd anniversary and 13 days before Christmas - I hope to be out of Vermont before then. I don't think I will be celebrating Christmas this year.
