Life
My Pets
Newest edition a gorgous pedigree Rhodesian Ridgeback named Nala. She's a year old now and at 96 lbs a I believe she owns me, not I owning her. She's extremely dedicated and fully trained and alerts and any unual circumstance. Hurricane Season will be secure with her by our side. The outside cats tolerate the Lion hunter.
My Kids
My son, Shaun is USMC currently deployed, My eldest is a Ultrasound Tech, and the youngest is a varsiety Cheerleader. They've become adults that astound me, with humor wit, beauty, courage and are dedicated beyond my dreams.
My Job
I enjoy working with the staff. We have a very strong nursing staff and fun administrative crew. The physicians and PA-C are smart, goodlooking, fun and young. The team basically has a great sence of humor and strong work ethic.
Military
My military career began shortly after high school with 6 years active duty in the United States ...Expand for more
Navy. After getting married and having the children I began to miss the service and enlisted in the USNR as a hospital corpman which balances my life as a nurse in the civilian world. The 15 year break in service saw many changes in the Navy and myself. I have recently reenlisted for another 6 years and have made rate, this was especially joyful as now with over 14 years it is nice to be recognized. My unit is full of smart, funny and dedicated individuals who I trust and love. It is such an honor to serve in the Armed Forces. Now the children are 19, 18 and 15, basically, parental hell, I bet an active duty tour supporting our forces would be a walk in the park and I'm fully prepared for the challenge. My son is a LCpl with the United States Marine Corps. We have survived one tour in Ramadi and are preparing for the next tour in the same region. It's a family supported activitiy. We deny him nothing.
