Kathe's Story
Life
In 1986, I got a one-way ticket and moved to Los Angeles with all the other explorers who found their hometowns too stifling. I graduated from UCLA in '89 and UCLA Law School in '92. I got married in June 2005 to an awesome British fella I met at the Peabody Hotel when he was traveling through town for the weekend (and I was on a date with someone else). I still call Los Angeles home. I do some hard core hiking and some soft core adventure racing - mostly overseas. My family stayed in Memphis. us a call!). I am frequently in Memphis for the business and with my husband. I go to our home in Los Angeles for my creative life and to keep my sanity. I am lucky to be able to travel about 40% of the time all over the world. I am a 6-time auntie (ages range from 3 to 8). I've been everything from a corporate lawyer to the CEO of a publishing company to a writer. Today I am a writer, traveler and still an entrepreneur. I am enjoying my life. Right now always seems to be the best time of my life thus far. I hope that "right now" is a place you enjoy too.
