Katherine's Story
Life
This year I celebrated my 11th annual 39th birthday. (I think my pic here came from my 1st annual 39th?!! ) My home since '94 is on the Wisconsin south shore of Lake Superior. It's a quiet little town, next to a great big lake and surrounded by forests with a year round population of about 2000. Like White Lake, it's is another all season locale, with winter sometimes being the longest. Even though I miss the neighborhood, the school chums and the many friends from another time, I have realized that there's no where else I'd rather be.

in parenting! The kids are twenty years apart from the oldest to the youngest!! 30, 20, 14 and 10. (Not something I would recommend but a case of be careful what you wish for!) In any case, I still believe that children make us better people. It's just me and two youngest at home and friends and family visit often.
Beyond my home, I lead a full and interesting life. I am a participating member of a greater community. I act locally and think globally! Always something happening here or near and life keeps us all learning...and I wouldn't want it any other way!
