Katherine's Story
I left Klamath when I was 16, and went to South Eugene High School where I met Philip, my husband of the last 20 years. What a culture shock that was back in 1967! My Mom moved me away from him and all the other artistic friends I had made who had long hair at South, to Sheldon, where I graduated.
I ended up attending the U of O, majoring in literature, and worked as an actress on Poetic Cinema films to help pay for those expensive College literature books.

ss in "Cinderella Liberty" shot in Seattle, but liked working behind the scenes better as a Casting Director and Location Scout on "Animal House" and "Stand By Me" just to name a few.
My husband Philip still works here in Oregon on nearly every film shot in Portland, and I have been working for the last 20 years on my true calling of screenplay writing, editing and development with Oregon writers on Oregon projects.
I have two children from a previous marriage that lasted almost 20 years as well, and we have one grandchild.
