Katherine's Story
hi everyone,
i have been an RN for about 47 years. finally got my bsn about 5 years ago.... better late than never. i really want to continue working and give back to the community and as usual assist people to be as good as they can be. so i went back to school and got my master's i psychology with a specialty in marriage and family therapy and substance abuse counseling. i am working now at a non profit organization in with mandated people from the county and federal govt, in substance abuse and mental heath. i just love working with this population...never a dull moment. i am working to get my hours so i can take my mft license/substance abuse license.

my husband of 27 years and the love of my life was dx'ed with melanoma of the nose and sinuses...super rare cancer. he was operated on and went thourgh chemo and radiation in los angeles, ca and now we are happy to report he is in remission.
we love to travel all over the world and now time willing we can do it again.
so that is the biggest part of my life living in las vegas, nv. a strange place but very interesting. we don't gamble but like to do hiking and sightseening when we can. other than the above a regular life.
