Katherine's Story

Oh my, time has certainly flown, married to Jon Muerth for 22 years and had three children, two boys and a girl. We moved to Cape Coral, FL in 1978 and I have been here ever since. All three children graduated from Cape Coral High School. Jon and I divorced in 1988. Michael now works for 21st Century Oncology doing appeals and denials to insurance companies. Mark is married to Karyn and they have a daughter, Renee who is 12and they in Ft.Myers, FL. Mark is a Lt. for the Cape Coral Fire Department and his wife does billing for a local cardiology group. Renee is growing fast and into horses and rides in competition and does well. Michelle is married to Peter Carag and they both work for American Express and Michelle just passed her 20 years with them. They have two adorable boys, Sam who is 9 and Rafe who just turned 7 but then what grandmother wouldn't think her grandchildren were wonderful. They live in P...Expand for more
hoenix AZ. I married my current husband, Jim in 1991. He is retired but I am still working and love every minute of it. I enjoy working and will as long as I can. I went back to school and have a Bachelor of Science in Management with a emphsis in Health Care Administration. I have two credentials, one is the Registered Health Information Administrator and the other is the Certified Coding Specialist Physican Office Based. I have worked the the healthcare setting for over 20 years. I retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in Jan. 2008 and now just sit in my home office and do remote coding and then I teach coding at a local college. I am active in the local Health Information Association. In my spare time, I quilt,applique on wool, read, spend time with the grandchildren, go to horse shows go to AZ, and do ceramics.
