Katherine's Story
I got married after high school to Rodger Busby. We've been married for 34 years. We have a daughter, Christy Barto, and a son, Jason. We have 4 granddaughters. Christy has 3 girls, Bayley (15), Lilly (7) and Monica (5). Jason has a daughter, Kaylee (6).
I love reading. My favorite author is Stephen King. And I belong to a book club. Right now we're reading, World War Z. Great book. And I love movies. I don't like animated movies or chick flicks. They're alright but they always seem slow. I like action movies. My favorite movie is, Die Hard, and all those movies. I really liked Pulp Fiction. We quote certain lines for a laugh some times.

Some of our vacations are trips to see them. Our other vacations are Stay and Play vacations. We go to resorts that have well known golf courses. Rodger plays all the golf that he can fit in. I just enjoy myself. Shopping, spas, and sun lit restaurants where I can get smoothies or tea and read. I've got to say though, of all the amenities, I love room service best. You can get anything you want by phone call. That seems so great to me. Anything all 24 hours. It just seems like the best vacation because Rodger gets to play golf, which is his hobby, and I get to read, my hobby. We go and leave all responsibilities and stress behind. The daily expectations and work are gone. It's totally relaxing even if it's only for a week.
