Katherine's Story
In the photo you will see my husband of 47 years (Carl) and I and two of our grandchildren in Washington DC the day after Thanksgiving 2008.
We live in Lafayette, Indiana. Our oldest daughter, Dawn and her family live in Annandale, Virginia (along the Washington DC beltway). She is a homemaker and part-time (work from home) technical writer and her husband works for DARPA. oungest, Eric and his family live in Portland Oregon. He is a computer programmer and his wife works for a large financial investigating company. We have 5 grandchildren.
We raise a large vegetable garden each year so we do a lot of food preservation. We restored a 1975 GMC Motorhome. Carl is retired and I keep busy as an Ind. Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. You will find us each fall at the Feast of the Hunters Moon in West Lafayette at one of the blacksmithing booths.
