Katherine's Story
Hi everyone-well here it is the end of 2010, and I haven't updated this in so long, so here goes.
I'm a single mom, with 2 grown kids. My son, Ronnie, is 33 and married and lives in Spain with his wife who is a concert pianist. My daughter, Kristina, is 27, and lives in DC, working on her MA in Anthropology/Archeology at George Washington University-she'll graduate this coming May. It's really weird-I move up here to Long Island, and love it because it is somewhat rural still (of course the real reason is that this is where my ex had a job). But Krissy is going to live in DC for awhile because she finds it boring here and loves the city.

eveloping and running a performing arts center for mentally and developmentally disabled adults-I loved it. In 2008, I was let go (internal politics-director wanted her friend in my place). So now I do freelance writing online, and also teach piano to kids and adults. I've got a studio in my house, and really love doing this (I just need a ton more students).
I often wonder what everyone's life is like right now-sometimes I wish that I was back in the 60's and 70's-life was so much easier then (even though it didn't seem like it at the time). But looking back, I think those years were the best.
