I've lived with my husband David in Perth Western Australia for...omg....over half my life! I went to EWSC (as it was then) and became an art teacher. Did a lot of travelling for a few years, hitching around Mexico and Central America for a year, working in London, riding the Orient Express to Istanbul, overland through Iran and Afghanistan to India for another year, where I lived in the tiny village of McLeod Gung, taking teachings at the Dalai Lama's library. I came to Australia in 1976, thinking it would be a short stop-off. I taught ceramics at a tech school in the outback town of Kalgoorlie for several years and started up a studio pottery business. David was the science teacher there-- we met on St Valentine's day 1977 and got married on the same day 4 years later. We can never forget the date of our wedding anniversary!
