Kathie Bell's Story

Hi DHS Friends - I am loving life and retirement living on Indian Rocks Beach for the last 20 years and with my partner of the last 14 years. He still manages the beach vacation rentals that we have run for the last 9 years so he can keep busy:), but I enjoy the sun, beach and occasonally going to Melbourne to visit my oldest son Michael (who is an engineer and has worked for Harris Corp since he graduated), wife Carol and my great granddaughter, Emma Sky whom I have to thank Carol - actually her son for. I love this child so much and have loved watching her growing up the last three years. She is an amazing little girl and her Papa (Michael) is doing all he can to ingrain different career options and becoming a UF Gator!! My youngest son, Rich and his wife of 18 months, Christie live in Voorhees, NJ. Rich got a promotion to NJ about 6 years ago and he loves it up there. He is a computer engineer and Christie works with animal rescue and both of them volunteer to help spay/nueter cats where there families ca...Expand for more
n't afford to have this done. I have been able to visit them quite a few times and do love the area where they live. They are about 45 minutes from Philly airport and my Dad (almost 94), half brother and sister lives about 50 minutes north of the airport in Horsham so I get to see them all when I get up there. I am finally getting to work on all the art projects that have been on hold until I retired and couldn't be happier. I work in several mediums and always exploring new ones. I am very thankful for the wonderful family that I have and the love in my life. I have traveled extensively while growing up and during my adult years and have been able to experience the beauty of our country and and 5 other countries, their culture and the beauty of their country. My life since HS has been mostly great with only a few valleys, but I really wouldn't change much. I have so much to be thankful for and I hope that y'all are doing great too. I would love to hear from any of my friends from our carefree years of school.
