Kathie's Story
Life
Grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Mt. Houston Elementary, Northwood Jr. High and M. B. Smiley High School. I married during the summer of 1971 and after my son was born and the marriage fell apart I felt I had to finish something to turn my life around so I went back to Smiley for my Senior year and Graduated at the age of 21 in 1973. hen in the Republic of the Philippines from 1978-80. I worked Armed forces Police and learned to ride a motorcycle. Back in San Diego I married Wayne Denmark. We raised his two children and have one mutual child. All are grown now and it is just us and the two Yorkies. I stayed in the reserves and spent two years at U.S. Central Command in Tampa before I retired as a Senior Chief. I currently work for the State of Florida as a computer analyst.
