Life
I live in Holland, Michigan and have a beautiful 17 yr old son named Mitchell. My son is a senior in high school. I am gay and sadly, my best friend and life partner, Janice passed away in September, 2005 after an 8 year battle with heart issues. We were together for 27 years, and she is very sadly missed by our son Mitch, and myself. She was the wind under my wings and I'm not entirely certain what the next chapter in my life will bring. I worked as a supervisor in a auto factory for 20 years, and was fired by a very homophobic 20 something yr old boy in 2001. At the time I did not realize it, but he did me a hug...Expand for more
e favor because his actions caused me to look at life with a much more positive outlook. Life is far too short to occupy myself with people that endorse racism, or hatred of any kind. I try to surround myself only with people that have a positive attitude no matter how many curve balls life has thrown them! I am currently disabled from severe arthritis, and make my living selling books online. I love life, music, books, plays, musicals, museums, traveling, and cooking. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2004 and have currently lost 150 pounds after a lifetime of battling with weight issues. Look for me on AOL as blubutch.
