Kathleen Aveni:  

After graduation, I worked for an insurance company as a secretary. I married my husband Frank in 1972 and moved just one town over to Woodbridge., were we raised two boys. For many years, I worked with my husband managing the office for our small construction company. Once the boys went off to college, I went to work at the BIC Corporation to help with the tutition bills. I stayed there for 10 years. Tutition paid off and the boys on their own, I left to take a part-time job with the Human Services Department for the Town of Woodbrige. After Frank retired, I began to work full time in the Woodbridge Town Hall. I enjoyedmy work in the Building Department as an Admin Asst. I worked with many of my friends from town who's children grew up with mine. It is a wonderful place to work, just 1 mile from my home. Frank is a national judge for NCRS (National Corvette Restorer's Society). We have 1967 Roadsters (the only year for a Corvette accordng to my husband).
