Kathleen's Story

After graduation I was going to join the Navy and be a nurse! I married an Army guy (go figure) instead! I've been a long distance operator with Bell & had administrative office jobs, then earned my Bachelors' degree in Radiology Sciences; I learned how to fly, shoot and scuba dive. I live in FL with 2nd husband Scott, and my two daughters and their children are closeby. Grandchildren are awesome angels! Retirement is busy & Covid sucks (Thank the Lord I only got a light version, still sucks !!) ithout classical music. Of course the hot tub is ALWAYS a good idea. I've lived Florida since 1979 after living in Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi and Germany. I love it here, but miss "the Mountain"! After 27 years married to Larry, we divorced and I remarried in 8-8-1998 to my true soulmate, Scott. I miss my parents everyday & wish my five grandchildren had known them. My do-overs would be to stay closer to my folks and believe in myself more. My oldest friend, whom I met in '67, Janet (Weber) Walsh graduated from Stadium! We're still best friends; she lives in Eatonville and we talk several times a month, and visit every couple of years. My brother Ray Bartholomew lives in Southern Oregon. Miss him loads!
