We moved from California exactly one week to the day after graduation. My Daddy was stationed in Cheyenne so I wound up going to the University in Laramie. After graduation I taught in Nebraska before moving to Georgia. I had planned to be here for a year as I really wanted to teach overseas but God had other plans for me. I am still in Georgia starting my 40th year here. I did move to New Orleans for a short marital booboo but was sent right back here. Teaching and raising my daughter Katie were the main points of my life for a couple of decades. In that time I also was reunited with my son. I was pregnant with him at the end of college and times being as they were then I had to give him up for adoption but we were reunited in 1999 via the mail and then in person two years later. I loved teaching for 38 years and had planned to teach several more years but NCLB has totally ruined education. I won't get on that soapbox now but I had bucked the system long enough to no avail so I retired in 06...think the main office had a huge party at my departure.
