Life
How to start...hmmm. Well after leaving Southwest I attended West High School for my senior year. After graduating I moved to California and spent 5 years. California and Wisconsin being my home bases while traveling around the United States. Then while in CA I met and married my husband (of 20 years) now my ex. A year after marrying I had my first child and then when she was about 8 months old we moved to OK and two years later I had my second child. We lived in OK for about 6 years then we moved to Colorado Springs, CO and lived there a year. Then we moved to Texas and I have lived here ever since. My children are both happily married and my son has 5 children. Being a grandma is the best thing in the whole world!
I am a church administrative assistant which is really a glorified way to say I am the church bookkeeper/secretary/receptionist and also work part-time for an electric utility, I dispatch for a Coop and thirdly I sell avon. I love helping people and you get to do a lot of that. I love the 2nd job the first one I like but sometimes it is very hard emotionally. I spend most of my free time with my grandchildren or working various volunteer work. VBS, Ladies' Retreats, Habitat for Humanity and other humanitarian needs. I love this part of my life. Who knew the best part of life was helping others. Oh, yea, God did. LOL. Anyway, I really enjoy being who I am now. I am much more centered and less self-centered.
It's funny, but when people find out I work 3 jobs, they always say "Oh, how sad." And I say "Praise the LORD that I have the health to work those jobs." After all there are people out there that would love just one job. So I am very blessed indeed. And if I want to take time off I can. So right now I am happy. If I could change anything in my life that would be to find the ability in myself to do the dishes every night haha. I really hate housework so I put it off a lot. But other than too much housework, over all life is good.
