Kathleen's Story
Kathleen is from Brooklyn, New York. Kathleen's schools include Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. I was a cheerleader and loved it. A Cadet and loved that too. Had a great group of girlfriends, we all went to American Bandstand with Fr.. Funk one year.
I had a boyfriend Jimmy Fitzsimmons with whom I went steady for almost 8 years, all through high school. We met in
l959, right before high school began. We got engaged, then I moved away with Pauline Dowling from our class to California and met and married someone else for...Expand for more
20 years. We had one girl. Got divorced and called Jimmy who never married and we finally lived happily ever after. The last five years we were together we were husband and wife. God has him now since September 29, 2010.
I live in the house that Jimmy and I built in Arizona with my dad who is 90 years old and have two dogs and a cat.
I went to the 40th Reunion of OLPH and am looking forward to our 50th this year.
My one regret in leaving the East Coast is that I'm not living near all of you, my long time friends, my forever friends.
