Life Where to begin? Well, life has not been dull and certainly has been an adventure. I have two children (24 and 16) and have been divorced since 1998. In 1983, I changed to my third career -- I am a lawyer -- and I've been doing that for twenty-four years and actually enjoy it! However, I may be ready for a change! After spending 50 years in southeast Pennsylvania, I decided it was time for a change. Since I first visited Alaska in 1995, I have wanted to move here, although my daughter did not. Ten visits later, I still wanted to move to Alaska! My daughter went off to college in 2001 and I accepted a job in Juneau, Alaska. Consequently, in June of 2002 the menagerie (two kids, a dog, and a U-Haul with the stuff that didn't make it onto the moving van) drove across the country to Alaska. Trust me, it is a very long drive even without the kids, dog and U-Haul. And yes, living in Alaska is everything I had hoped it would be (although there has been more rain than I had expected!). Juneau has been fun albeit rather isolated. I do, however, love Alaska.
