Kathleen's Story
Met my husband Ed while we both worked at the corporate headquarters of John Deere. We've been married 25 years, and have one daughter, Elizabeth, who is 22 and a senior at Mizzou, majoring in personal financial planning (Hopefully, she'll be instrumental in keeping our golden years from looking like the inside of a cardboard refrigerator box!). John Deere. Since then, I've been an editor/editorial director at a magazine publishing company, spent 10 years as a freelance marketing communications writer and went back into the corporate world 18 months as a writer in the marketing department at AutoTrader.com. I have two younger brothers, Ted, who is the fire chief for the city of Brentwood, and Andy, a chemical engineer who works for a consulting firm in St. Louis. I still keep up with several LHS/Mizzou friends and count them among my closest friends in life.
