John's Story

Life Hi, guys!!! Since 1987 I have been pretty busy raising my family! I started working for Key Bank shortly after graduation and was married to Terry Bolibaugh in 1990...our first child (Jacqueline) was born in 1991, our second (Mary Kate) was born in 1993, our third (Carley) was born in 1994 and our little boy Danny was born in 1997...so, I've been busy being a full-time mom!! We moved back to Broadalbin in 1995...for the school district believe it or not!! I recently started my own Antique business, selling mostly on the internet. I am still singing, mostly at church, weddings and funerals...my folks sold the Hotel and have retired in Cape Cod...if we are not at home...that's where you can find us! Send me an email...would love to catch up.... Workplace After Graduation I had planned on taking a year off and then attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY and study to become a buyer...things never go as...Expand for more
planned. I started working as a teller for Key Bank, working mainly in Schenectady, Johnstown, Amsterdam and Gloversville. I then met my future husband. After a year, I was offered a job as Nancy Sulem's dad's secretary and was basically the secretary for eight Key Bank branches. It was fun and I loved the people but soon discovered after the birth of our daughter Jacqueline that HOME was where I needed and wanted to be. I have had a few part time jobs since then just to get me out of the house, mainly in banking. About two years ago, I hooked up with a family friend who has been in the antique business for about 35 years...he asked me to do the computer end of his online antique business. It took off from there, we became partners and now I work for myself, finding my treasures at auctions, antique shops, yard sales and all along Cape Cod. I love working my own hours and I'm making a pretty good income for myself.
