Life
It's been a wonderful life- quite an adventure! I'm married with 5 grown stepchildren, 6 grandchildren and we're expecting our 2nd great-grandchild in November! I spent the first 20 years after high school working as a medical assistant and I've just retired after 21 years as a Forensic Psychiatric Nurse. Yes, I have tales to tell... I've made some wonderful friends along the way and still manage to keep in touch with a couple of "best friends" from way back....Expand for more
I don't have a handle on the retirment thing yet, since I'm new at it. It's definitely a big change from my former workaholic lifestyle. We've also just moved, so still getting settled in the "retirement cottage in the woods". There are so many things I have yet to do- things I haven't had time for over the years during my nursing career. Now that I'm gonna have a little time on my hands, I'd love to hear from anybody out there who would care to communicate.
