Kathleen Mallery:  

After high school, I attended Highline College for a while before I met my husband "to-be" at my place of employment. We married in 1969 and have two children, Kirsten (born in '71) and Garrett (born in '73). We stayed in the Seattle area until 1987 when job changes forced a move to Idaho. Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect! In 1987 Rick's employer closed and he became a long haul trucker. We moved from Seattle to Middleton, Idaho due to this job change. In '92 we bought a small "ranch" in Parma, ID and have remained here since. In 1980 I became interested in the sport of pure-bred dogs and have followed that course since. We breed and exhibit Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We have bred and exhibited 4 consecutive dogs in 3 consecutive generations of top ranked Pembrokes and Castell Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known the world over. We have placed our dogs in many countries around the world. In 1985 I began handling show dogs professionally and travelled all over the US on a regular basis and various countries occasionally.
