Kathleen's Story
Life
After hs grad. Finished college at Cal State U at LA. Married and had two children, Laura and Tim. Divorced and then went to grad school. Became a Marriage and Family Therapist and continued teaching at Mtn. View High School in El Monte. I teach a class called Relationships and a freshman Tech Core class in the Family & Consumer Ec.(formerly Home Ec).
I live in Monrovia, CA with my husband, Ron. We have a really old house- 98 years old! We recently updated the kitchen and added some additiional square feet. I have lived here since 1975(lived next door before for 8 years). Ron and I married in 1990 and done lots more work on the house. Two earthquakes made us do some major work!
Ron is a concrete contractor specializing in stamped concrete.

or the classes of '58 and '59 with my sister, Jeanne Pearce. It was interesting. 2006 would be 45 years! Maybe it is time to plan a reunion.

I posted a note asking about interest in a reunion a couple of months ago. I wonder if anyone wants to get together. The class of "59 is having there 50th this fall. I think my brother said that the class of "62 is planning one in the future. He suggested that maybe the classes could do it together. What do people think?
I love being retired from teaching. I am still involved in doing grief counseling as an MFT.
I keep busy with my house, garden, some quilting at church, book group, family get togethers and never have a dull moment. My husband and I travel to see family in Missouri and Montana. We are planning a few days in Vermont in Oct. He keeps busy with renting his concrete stamping tools and flying his Piper Cherokee.
