Kathleen's Story
Hi there,
My name is Kathleen L. Thrasher. I never really graduated the way most students do, but I did get a G.E.D. in 1980. I went to Palo Verde from 1967 thru 1970, when I realized I would have to do something different to finish my eduation. But like a lot of young girls did back in the day " I fell in Love " and married my first husband. I divorced after 6 months! I met and married my second husband and had 2 boys who are now ages 36 and 33, that marriage ended in 1982. I met a man in 1982 who I am still with and I had 3 more children with him, a boy age 24 and 2 girls ages 22 and 14. That is pretty much my life being a mom and a partner for life.
I often wish I could go back to High School because I believe I could do so much better now.
My partner and I own some rentals and he is a scrap man buys and sells auto parts. You can only imagine the chaos most of the time. Busy,Busy,Busy

alo Verde, I was very shy and kept pretty much to myself. I only had a few friends, I was not popular at all, some of the students would make fun of me sometimes, but not enough to be traumatized by it. I tried to make friends but I think I was to plain to be noticed by many people. I met a boy at school whose father was a preacher, it is so sad but I dont remember his name. He made a big impression on me, he was a blonde and wore glasses and he was pretty tall. I started going to church after I met him, he was a very nice boy.
Well if anyone can remember me or my dearest friend "Betsy Warner" please feel free to e-mail me. And Betsy if you are out there somewhere I would really like to hear from you. I read that your mother passed away recently, I lost my mother in Oct. 2005 my dad died in 1993 so I am an orphan now.
