Edwin's Story
After RPHS I worked in a factory until I was drafted in 1964. Took Basic training in Ft. Polk, La. Trained as a medic in Ft.Lewis,Wa. and stayed there until Oct.1965, when I shipped out for Viet Nam. I survived but with some damage(nothing visible).
Arrived home April 1966 and got a job at The Daily Journal for 1 1/2 years thought the grass was greener in a sales position. I did ok for one year but too many highs and lows with money.

to the Daily Journal in Jan. 1969 to old job but at experienced rate. Married a girl from Missouri in October.Stayed at DJ until Dec.1988. Started at Courier News, Bridgewater, and stayed until 2002, when I became the Circulation Manager at the Suburban News, Clark. Laid off March 2009, still out of work with no regrets.
I am the 2nd Vice Pres. & Membership Chairman of Union County VVA Chapter 688 and a member of VFW Post 2230 of Kenilworth.
