Kathleen's Story
Life
Currently, I live on a 15-acres spread, bordered by the Illinois river, with pasture (yes, with livestock), woods, and park-like yard. I am a mental health counselor, working in the local high school, working with kids (ages 12-19) and their families. I drive a sage Kia Sportage.

ouple of years, but using theatre in my counseling business and at church.
I became a Christian in High School, thanks to folks like Sherri Bloyd, Deb Sanders Terhune, Ray Childers, Mike Forshier and many others. I attended a Christian school, married a Baptist deacon, and ...well, God has blessed. We have been foster parents, and taken in homeless. Busy, for the Lord.

Today I explain the physical and mental changes that adolescents go through, to parents and teachers. We do stupid things when we are in puberty, and need to forgive ourselves for a lot. "Today is the first day of the rest of your life". You have the power to make good choices today.
Every day.
