Kathleen's Story
After living in Holbrook, NY for 30+ years, my husband, Lew, and I moved to NC at the end of August, 2007. We love the milder climate and the life that we have here. We live about a mile from where our boat is docked, so we can ride our bikes there. We are very active and enjoy vacations to the Caribbean, where we love to snorkel.

, and live in VA. One is married and remains on Long Island. We enjoy frequent visits with all three of them and their families.
Lew and I were both teachers and have retired.
One of the biggest thrills I've had is when I went sky diving with my husband and 3 sons to celebrate retirement. It was awesome!
We are very blessed. We are happily married and enjoy excellent health.
