Kathleen's Story
Life
To avoid putting people to sleep, I will only mention what I think someone would find interesting. Lived in Denver CO 64-70, worked, hunted, fished, became the first female hunter safety instructor for the State. Married, had a daughter. Bought 320 acres in Alaska and moved there. Lived in Delta Jct 70-74, worked for Army, Ft. Greeley, hunted, fished, got chased by grizzly and momma moose, divorced. Moved to Anchorage 74-76, worked at Ft Richardson, went to college, learned to ski, bought my own home, raised my daughter. Met a Major, fell in love. Moved down to VA, married guy, moved to Maryland 76-80, worked for Army Corp of Engineers, attended college, got pregnant on purpose. Transferred to Defense Language College in Pacific Grove, CA lived in Carmel, CA for six months, son born at Ft ORD. Moved to Jakarta Indonesia for 13 months, got pregnant again on purpose, gave birth at Clark Air Base in Phillippines. Transferred back to Washington DC 81-...Expand for more
85, was a housewife, finished college, played regional softball, racketball and had a jewelry business. Transferred to Sacramento, CA 85-90.
raised kids and Morgan horses, got a real estate license, worked. Husband retired, moved to Washington state for six months, didn't like it. Moved to Napa County, CA 90-04, divorced, sent kids to college, bought my own house, worked at high end resort and learned about wine. Retired 2004, bought house in OR, started a Bed & Breakfast to keep me busy. There's more to the story but you're tired of reading and I'm tired of typing. Love to hear your story. Adios Update June 1, 2009. I am now living in Van Nuys, CA and pursuing an acting career. Oregon and the B&B got too boring. Been working as a background actor on several shows and movies, "Grey's Anatomy", Iron Man 2, etc. Weather is warmer and loads of cultural sights. It's never too late to try something new.
