he mid 1980's and still try to be active. Was a state delegate during the last election.I still believe in Thomas Jefferson's concept of government. I would love to hear from others. My best friend right now is a two year old collie named Jolene. She's my third generation of collie ( I had all four of her grandparents)and she travels with me everywhere. Oh I forgot to mention that I live in Maine where my family originated. My mom still lives in Santa Maria. Katie Bartley
College
The one serious thing I remember about my graduate work was living on campus (I attended a Jesuit institution)while the Vatican was threatening to reign in the American Jesuit institutions. My on-campus priests were in constant small group discussions throughout campus with each other demanding to know "who that Polish upstart thinks he is". Our archbishop was under papal "probation" and the full extent of the order differences was very evident. It was an interesting climate to be studying under.
