Life
Hello from Kathy, I went to South Westnedge Grade School, Oakwood Jr. High, then graduated from Norrix in '74. I took classes & worked at Bronson Hospital, 14 yrs before getting married and moving to Bronson Michigan. I have 2 children Kelly, age 24 who now lives and works in NY. My son Michael, is age 18, attending Bronson High School. I have been divorced for past 16 yrs. I have worked at Sturgis Hospital, for 10 yrs and have been thinking about selling my home and moving back to either Kalamazoo, or out of state to warmer climate after my son graduates. I may move to Ft. Lauderdale, I love it there & my younger brother Bill Cooke, lives there. I would like to hear from class mates and find out what you have been up to for the past 30 something years. Ohhhh my, has it really been that long already? Inspired by Mrs. Grossnickle, Mrs. Adams, Mr. Mayeda, in those grade school years, then Mr. Jack Sizer, & Mr. Dave Peterson in High School.
The craziest high school memory I have is of Mike Cook, (no relation to me), streaking through the lunchroom wearing only his combat boots.
I loved going to Football games and the fun we would have at the Home coming bonfires. The boys in Auto Shop Class working on my '64 Chevy 2 door; keeping it in great running condition and my only cost besides car parts was a box of Dunkin Donuts. Thanks guys!
Working at Sam's Car Wash as a cashier during high school years and as a volunteer candy striper at Bronson Hospital until 12th grade then I worked as a Nurses Aide my final year in high school after taking summer NA classes after finishing 11th grade along with my cashier job for Sam's Car Wash. It was alot of fun and the Nurses Aide class helped change my mind about being a legal secretary after taking 3 yrs of secretarial classes to go into nursing. I've never regretted that decision for a moment...
